Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Design and develop Java-based backend services using Spring Boot / Spring Framework
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices following cloud-native best practices
- Write clean, scalable, secure, and maintainable code
AWS Cloud Engineering
- Develop and deploy applications on AWS using services such as:
- EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB
- Lambda, API Gateway
- ECS / EKS
- CloudWatch, CloudFormation
- Implement high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance in cloud applications
- Manage application configuration and secrets using AWS tools
DevOps & CI/CD
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline
- Containerize applications using Docker
- Deploy and orchestrate containers using Kubernetes or ECS
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
Database & Messaging
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Implement asynchronous communication using Kafka, SQS, or SNS
Testing & Support
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests
- Support production releases, monitor performance, and resolve issues
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+)
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Experience with Microservices architecture
- Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, HTTP
- Strong SQL knowledge and database design skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Reactive programming (WebFlux, RxJava)
- Knowledge of serverless architecture
- Experience with OAuth2, JWT, and application security
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
- AWS Certification (Developer, Solutions Architect)
