Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master to support multiple Agile teams (2–3) delivering and sustaining enterprise Cloud Services. This role is focused on enabling high-performing teams that support cloud platforms, tooling, and services used across the organization.
The Scrum Master will foster a culture of continuous improvement, facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and partner closely with Product Owners, IT Delivery Leads, and the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to ensure the successful delivery and operational support of cloud capabilities.
This role requires a self-starter who operates with a high degree of autonomy, proactively drives outcomes, and does not require micro‑management.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as Scrum Master for 2–3 Agile teams supporting enterprise Cloud Services, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand‑Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives
Partner with Product Owners, IT Delivery Leads, and technical stakeholders to support execution planning, manage progress, and facilitate effective release planning
Collaborate closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and peer Scrum Masters to support PI objectives, dependencies, and ART‑level coordination
Ensure backlog readiness by partnering with Product Owners/IT Delivery Leads to drive refinement, prioritization based on business value, and clear acceptance criteria
Track, analyze, and communicate team progress using Agile metrics, providing transparency, insights, and visibility to stakeholders
Proactively identify, manage, and help remove impediments, risks, issues, and dependencies, while coaching teams toward higher levels of Agile maturity and continuous improvement
Foster a trusting and psychologically safe environment that encourages transparency, learning, accountability, and problem‑solving, while ensuring strong Agile tool hygiene using CA Rally (preferred; Jira acceptable)
Required Skills & Experience:
5–6 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile delivery environments, with proven success managing multiple Agile teams (2–3 concurrently)
Strong working knowledge of Scrum and Kanban, with experience operating in scaled Agile environments, including SAFe and participation in Program Increment (PI) Planning
Hands-on experience with CA Rally (preferred) for backlog management, execution tracking, and reporting; Jira experience acceptable
Experience facilitating estimation, story pointing, and team planning (capacity and velocity), with a good understanding of Agile metrics to drive insights and continuous improvement
Excellent facilitation, communication, mentoring, and conflict‑resolution skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, evolving cloud and technology environment
Demonstrated self‑starter mindset—proactive, accountable, and able to operate independently without close supervision or micro‑management; Certified ScrumMaster (CSM / Scrum Master I) required
Nice to Have
Generative AI Familiarity: Experience or exposure to AI-assisted development and delivery tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and an understanding of how generative AI can enhance team productivity and delivery practices
Experience supporting cloud platforms, infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering teams
SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or other scaled Agile certifications
Continuous Learning Mindset: Interest in staying current with emerging technologies, including generative AI, cloud-native practices, and modern Agile delivery techniques
