Position Summary 

The Collaboration and AI Senior Engineer will design, implement, and oversee advanced collaboration and productivity AI solutions for the Hartford India. This role will work closely with the Global Hartford Enterprise CTO organization to ensure a unified approach in architecting and deploying these solutions 

 

 This role is a blend of advanced technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and AI agent technologies with strategic leadership in service management, product management, and enterprise IT architecture. e. The successful candidate will drive innovation, mentor support teams, and ensure enterprise collaboration platforms deliver value to The Hartford India.  

Key Responsibilities 

Solution Architecture & Engineering 

  • Design, deploy, and maintain collaboration technology solutions, including Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and associated productivity AI and productivity agentic solutions 

  • Provide solution consultation aligned with enterprise security and compliance standards to enable seamless integration of M365 Copilot, Gemini Vertex AI, and Google Agent Space agents into business workflows. 

  • Lead integration efforts for custom-developed applications and agents with M365 and email platforms using App Registrations, Managed Connectivity Patterns (MCP), A2A configurations, and Microsoft Graph API. 

  • Manage governance and lifecycle processes for agents across Copilot Studio, Google Agent Space, and Microsoft Teams App Store, leveraging Power Platform Coe and Agent 365 frameworks. 

  • Maintain compliance and monitoring through Microsoft Purview AI and advanced agent governance capabilities, ensuring security and regulatory adherence. 

Service & Product Management 

  • Provide engineering guidance and mentorship to Level 2 Support for Collaboration and Productivity AI technologies.  

  • Drive service and product management strategies for collaboration platforms, accelerating adoption, enabling usage analytics, and fostering continuous improvement. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure service stability and alignment with business requirements.  

  • Oversee change management programs, including training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.  

  • Consulting & Leadership 

  • Consult with business units and partners to develop solutions for complex business problems and requirements.  

  • Mentor and coach engineers and support staff, fostering technical growth and knowledge transfer. 

  • Lead research and innovation efforts, staying current with industry trends and best practices in collaboration and AI technologies. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 

  • At least 10 years’ experience in engineering and supporting Microsoft 365 platforms, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Proofpoint and CoPilot Studio Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).  

  • Advanced expertise in M365 Copilot, Gemini Vertex AI, Copilot Studio, Google Agent Space, and agent governance. 

  • Experience integrating custom applications with enterprise platforms using App registrations and Graph API 

  • Strong background in IT architecture for collaboration technologies and productivity AI. 

  • Demonstrated service management or product management experience in a large enterprise environment. 

  • Ability to consult, communicate, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Experience mentoring and supporting Level 2 support teams for collaboration and AI technologies. 

  • Familiarity with compliance, monitoring, and governance tools such as Purview AI. 

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP), distributed environments, and hybrid deployments. 

  • Certifications in Microsoft, Google, or relevant AI/collaboration technologies. 

  • Experience with automation, scripting (PowerShell, Python), and data analytics. 

  • Knowledge of video streaming, content delivery, and enterprise engagement technologies.
