  • Monitor regulatory environments and proactively assess impacts to filing strategy, capacity, and delivery commitments.

  • Strong understanding of policy and certificate structures, including eligibility, benefit triggers, limitations, and exclusions.

  • Ability to oversee high‑volume, recurring filings while maintaining quality, timeliness, and regulatory consistency.

  • Develop strong working knowledge of state DOI requirements, objection management, and negotiation with regulators across multiple jurisdictions

Regulatory & Compliance Leadership

  • Partner closely with Compliance, Product, Legal and Regulatory Team to interpret regulatory changes and define appropriate filing strategies.

  • Oversee execution of compliance‑driven updates, mandated revisions, and state‑specific requirements impacting general case filings.

  • Ensure adherence to internal governance, filing standards, documentation expectations, and audit readiness.

  • Identify, assess, and communicate regulatory risks and mitigation strategies to the AVP, Product Compliance & Delivery and business partners.

Cross‑Functional Partnership & Influence

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Product, Actuarial, Legal, Compliance, Implementation, Underwriting, and Operations on regulatory filing considerations.

  • Provide guidance during product development, enhancements, and market expansions.

  • Represent the GCF organization on cross‑functional initiatives and enterprise projects as a regulatory SME.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, quality improvement, and workload optimization across the GCF team.

  • Leverage metrics and trend analysis to inform resource planning, backlog management, and performance outcomes.

  • Champion standardization, automation, and scalable processes across the general case filing lifecycle.

Documentation, Training & Knowledge Management

  • Ensure consistent maintenance of regulatory guidance, filing documentation, standards, and reference materials.

  • Support development and delivery of training related to regulatory filings, state requirements, and internal processes.

  • Promote knowledge sharing and capability building within the team and across partner organizations.

Qualifications:
